So sometimes I don’t blog for months, and suddenly I’ve got three posts in a week. Let me explain:
I’m having a five-day long holiday now! And not too much homework! So I’m going to blog about the 2013 movie Frozen, inspired by Hans Christian Anderson’s ‘The Snow Queen’.
Movie starts of with five year old Anna and eight year old Elsa. While playing, Elsa, who was born with the powers of ice and snow, accidentally strikes Anna, rendering her unconscious. Their parents, the King and Queen of Arendelle, rush Anna to the trolls, who, after healing her, erases her memories of the magic. For safety reasons, the two sisters are locked away from each other.
Years later, after their parents’ death, it is time for Elsa’s coronation. Everything goes well – until the ball, where Elsa accidentally shoots ice from her fingertips in anger when Anna pulls off her glove mischievously when Elsa refuses to let her marry Prince Hans, a man whom Anna had just met (are you following?). Horrified, Elsa runs away into the mountains.
Anna sets off to find her runaway sister, coming across Kristoff and his reindeer, Sven. Together, they set of on an epic adventure to find Elsa and break the curse she unleashed on the kingdom when she ran away.
But will Elsa want to return with the people calling for her blood? And how will the curse be broken? Sorry, but you’ll have to watch to find out!
