Musical(s) Review

So I’ve not been posting for eons.

But I presume that I have more time now that the Finals are over (WOOT! I’m moving on to Second form along with [I assume] the entire cohort of First Form [or Secondary one, etc.]) and school’s out for the year, I can post more often.

Here’s what I’ve been wanting to post for AGES and I would have posted it somewhere in early August if not for this website hanging and exams “-_-

I’VE ACTUALLY WATCHED THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (the actual musical) IN LATE JULY!! AND IT WAS JUST AMAZING!!! I LITERALLY CAME OUT OF THE THEATRE STAGGERING AND RAVING HOW AWESOME IT WAS FOR APPROXIMATELY EIGHT HOURS NOT COUNTING THE INTERVAL!!!!!!

— Rave over —

I’m sure many of you already the storyline {I know, pretty depressing when Christine handed the ring back to the Phantom 😦 }; but honestly it’s the voices of the actors/singers that really make this musical priceless (did I mention that The Phantom of the Opera is practically one of the two best musicals in my opinion*). I suggest that you awesome people just go experience it for yourselves; it is simply too brilliant to put in words. Seriously.

*the other musical that I think really highly of is Wicked. I just missed it; it just came last year in November/December. That means I have to wait approximately ten years for it to arrive again 😦 And yes, I have a liking for musicals with prejudice and misunderstandings. One always needs something one can relate to, even if it’s a green-skinned witch.

Oh, hang on. I think I’d rather play Elphaba Thropp in Wicked than watch the musical. Justttt have to hit the final note of Defying Gravity……

Well, that’s it for now!

Adieu –lapses into Music of the Night , then remembers dream and TRIES to switch to No Good Deed, fails and continues humming PotO–
